David Jacobs (he/him/his) is an actor, humorist and educator. Originally from San Francisco, CA, he has performed at the American Conservatory Theater, Target Margin Theater and the Garage Theater Group as well as the PIT, UCB and the Annoyance Theater in NYC- among others. He has written and performed two solo comedic shows- “The Pursuit of Pad See Ew on Yum Kippur: A Half Jewish Odyssey” (The PIT, Rochester International Fringe Festival) and “The Big Breakdown” (San Francisco International Fringe Festival). During the summers, he travels to colleges and universities across the United States performing an icebreaker show called “Playfair” (pictured on the left) which uses applied improvisation to help young people connect with one another and stay in school. As an educator an activist, he co-founded “The Crown Heights Summer Theater Workshop” in Crown Heights, Brooklyn for underserved youth as well as the “Misfits for Democracy”- an upstart activist phone banking operation working to get Leftist candidates elected nationwide.
